This exhibition will consider the common heritage and richness of European culture by reflecting on the Greek, Roman and Christian origins which developed into the social and cultural construct of Europe.

It will review the origins of the European Union following the tragedies of two World Wars and, ahead of the projected UK Referendum on continued membership of the EU, will address questions such as: Is unity within Europe for the common good? Is it important for the UK to remain in the EU in order to achieve this unity? Or should the UK be following its own self interest? Can political and even economic differences in Europe be a source of strength rather than a threat?
