Music and the ‘Other’

A guided listening journey exploring the most universal of human languages, music, in order to deepen our understanding of it as, ultimately, the expression of our relationship with and need for the Other: this can be recognized in our need to love and to be loved, or in the need to find an answer to human suffering. Through a multimedia presentation involving audio recordings, readings, video interviews and guided listening, we would like to discover the unity which Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI refers to when describing the origin of all music as “being touched by God.”
